Caine DeWitt joined the Schürch lab in August 2024 to start a M.S. degree. His research aims to develop airborne environmental DNA detection for the monitoring of invasive and beneficial arthropod species. He is particularly interested in the factors that affect airborne eDNA yield, such as sampling methods, arthropod species, and climate.
